Kidz Village International Kindergarten is located on 7 rai of land and is purposively designed to incorporate the natural environment into the learning spaces. Fundamental to the design and organization of the school is the belief that “nature is important to children’s development in every major way; intellectually, emotionally, socially, spiritually and physically“ (Kellert, 2005). The school environment is rich with shade provided by trees. It includes a green house, natural flowing canal, gardens and a farm area. A variety of beautiful plants and flowers can be seen throughout along with fresh produce grown here on the school farm.
Our classrooms are designed and influenced by traditional Thai architecture with high ceilings and full wall door openings to provide maximum airflow and allow us to minimize our use of air conditioning. The spacious playgrounds, garden and school animals allow our students to extend their learning across a wide range of environments applying skills and knowledge to multiple contexts. At Kidz Village International Kindergarten our belief that children thrive in a natural learning environment is evident through both the design of the physical environment and the range of opportunities our students are encouraged to engage in.

As an Early Childhood Educator, I believe every child has great potential and is eager to learn. As their teacher, I am convinced that learning happens through child-based play, whether in a safe, stimulating classroom environment or through engaging outdoor activities. I believe teachers are role models for the children, their parents, and the greater community, and their best quality is kindness as they guide children through their early years.

Being a teacher is a gratifying experience. You bring an open mind, a positive attitude, and high expectations to the classroom. What you may forget is that your students bring the same qualities, and not only do they learn from you, but you also learn from them. The ability to learn is one of the most important developments in humanity. As an early childhood educator, you automatically get to nurture your Inner child, nurturing spirit, and boundless creativity all naturally emerge. Teachers often become a significant positive influence on their students’ lives, shaping who they aspire to be. While this responsibility may seem immense, it is undoubtedly one of the most rewarding.
